Terms of Using This Site
These terms set out what you can expect from this site and what is expected of you. They are written to be read rather than to be endured, but they are a legal agreement: by using the site you accept them. If you do not, the remedy is simply not to use it.
In Plain Terms
| Clause | Summary |
|---|---|
| Everything here is free | No account, no subscription, no paywall. There is nothing to buy from us. |
| The tools are guidance, not guarantees | They are carefully built and they will sometimes be wrong. Check before you spend money. |
| You keep your own judgement | Nothing here replaces a fitting, a tailor, a doctor or a financial adviser. |
| The writing belongs to us | Read it, share a link, quote a little. Do not republish it wholesale. |
| Some links earn a commission | Clearly disclosed, and they never change what a page says. |
| Your local consumer rights still apply | Nothing in these terms takes away a right the law gives you. |
The rest of this page sets out each of those properly.
Who Runs This Site and What It Offers
womensfashioneu.com is operated by Md Zubayer Al Hasan from Bangladesh. It publishes written guides about clothing, sizing and style, and nineteen free tools that convert measurements, classify proportions and help plan a wardrobe. It sells nothing, takes no payments and holds no accounts.
Using the site means accepting these terms. That includes reading an article, using a tool, subscribing to the newsletter or sending a message through the contact form. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site — there is no account to close and nothing to cancel.
These terms may change. Material changes will be posted here with a date before they take effect, and continuing to use the site after that means accepting the revised version. There is no mechanism for individual notification because there are no accounts to notify.
Who this is
What the site is
Nineteen free tools and a set of written guides. No shop, no subscription, no account, no paid tier.
Using the Calculators and Quizzes
The tools are guidance. They are carefully built, they publish their methods and their limits, and they will still sometimes be wrong. Check a result against the brand, the garment or a professional before spending money on the strength of it.
Every tool on this site publishes the formula or thresholds behind it, where the numbers came from, and the situations in which it will give a poor answer. That is unusual in this category and it is deliberate. It is also the basis on which these terms ask you to treat the results: as informed guidance you can inspect, rather than as a guarantee.
There are real limits, and each tool's own page states the ones that apply to it. Brands revise their size charts without announcing it. Garments vary within a production run. Body shape categories, colour seasons and style types are conventions rather than standards, and reasonable systems disagree about where the boundaries sit. A measurement you take yourself is only as good as the tape and the moment.
So the practical position is this. Use a result to narrow a decision, not to make it blind. Where money is involved — an expensive garment, a checked bag close to an airline limit, an alteration — verify against the brand's own chart, a scale, or a person who can see the garment. If a result and the physical object disagree, the object is right.
We are not liable for a purchase made on the strength of a tool result, a garment that does not fit, a return you have to make, or a fee charged by a third party such as an airline. That is not an attempt to avoid responsibility for the quality of the tools — errors are corrected promptly and publicly, and reporting one is welcome. It is a statement that a free tool cannot underwrite a purchase decision it cannot see.
Before you buy
Check the brand's own size chart. Ours describes how brands deviate; theirs is definitive for their garments.
Before you fly
Weigh the bag. A calculator estimates; a scale measures.
Before you commit
Where a professional would do better, the tool's page says so. Those notes are there because they are true.
Reporting an error
If a figure on this site is wrong, email fashion@womensfashioneu.com and it will be checked against the source and corrected, with a note on the page saying what changed. Correcting errors is a commitment made in the editorial policy and it is meant seriously.
What This Site Is Not
Several tools here touch subjects where confident writing from an unqualified source could cause harm. These boundaries are stated on the individual pages and are repeated here because they are terms of use, not just editorial policy.
Not medical or health advice
The body shape calculator, the measurement tools and the undertone test describe proportions and colouring for the purpose of choosing clothes. None of them is health information. Nothing on this site provides nutrition, fitness, dermatological or diagnostic guidance, and no result here carries any information about your health. If you have a health question, speak to a doctor.
Not financial advice
The cost per wear and clothing budget tools organise one category of spending. They do not advise on debt, savings, investment or household finances, they do not assess affordability, and they are not regulated financial advice in any jurisdiction. If you need financial advice, speak to someone qualified to give it.
Not professional styling or fitting
The tools are built carefully and a trained colourist with physical drapes, a fitter with a tape measure, or a tailor with the garment in hand will do better. Several pages say so outright. Nothing here replaces a professional who can see you.
Not legal advice
This page included. These terms describe how the site operates. They are not legal advice to you, and if you have a legal question about your own situation you should take your own.
Copyright and What You May Do With It
The articles, the tool methodologies, the illustrations and the code behind the calculators are the property of the site operator and are protected by copyright. The underlying facts are not — a size conversion is a fact and nobody owns it. What is protected is the particular expression, the structure, the research and the compiled tables.
You are welcome to read anything here, use every tool as often as you like, print a page or a checklist for your own use, and share a link anywhere. Quoting a short passage with attribution and a link is fine and is not something we would ever object to.
What is not permitted without written permission: republishing an article in whole or substantial part, copying the brand deviation tables or size charts into another site, scraping the site or its tools systematically, embedding a tool elsewhere, or using any of it to train a machine learning model.
That last one is worth stating plainly rather than leaving implied. The tables on this site represent a considerable amount of manual verification against primary sources. Their value is precisely that they were checked rather than copied, and copying them defeats the purpose for everyone.
If you want to use something
Ask. Email fashion@womensfashioneu.com describing what you want to use and where. Requests from educational and non-commercial projects are usually granted.
Using the Site Reasonably
A short list, all of it ordinary.
Access may be blocked where any of these occur. Given that nothing here requires an account, that is the only enforcement available and it is not used lightly.
What We Are and Are Not Responsible For
The site is provided as it is, free of charge. We take real care over accuracy and correct errors promptly, and we cannot accept liability for decisions made on the strength of a free tool. Nothing here limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Everything on this site is provided without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption, that it will be free of errors, or that any tool result will be accurate for your particular garment, body or circumstance. The published methodologies and the stated limitations on each tool page are part of that position rather than separate from it.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss or damage arising from using this site or relying on anything in it — including money spent on clothing, returns, alterations, airline charges, or the consequences of any purchasing decision. The tools are free, they publish their limits, and they are offered as guidance to be checked.
Some liability cannot be excluded and is not. We do not seek to exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else which the law in your country does not permit to be excluded. Where a clause in these terms is unenforceable where you live, it is severed and the rest continues to apply.
Links to Other Sites
Pages here link out to brands, standards bodies, publications and occasionally to competing sites where their treatment of a subject is better than ours. Every external link has been opened and read at the time of writing. We do not control those sites, are not responsible for their content, and cannot guarantee they still say what they said.
Some links are affiliate links, meaning a commission may be paid if you buy something after following one. These are disclosed on the pages that carry them and in the affiliate disclosure. They do not change what any page says — the brand deviation tables describe which labels run small and which run large regardless of whether a commission is attached.
When you leave this site, the other site's own terms and privacy policy apply. Any purchase you make is a contract between you and that retailer, not with us, and we are not a party to it.
Which Law Applies
This site is operated from Bangladesh, and these terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. The courts of Bangladesh have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
That is not the whole picture, and stating it honestly matters more than stating it forcefully. If you are a consumer living in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area, or anywhere else with mandatory consumer protection law, that law gives you rights which a clause in these terms cannot remove. You may be entitled to bring proceedings in your own country's courts and to rely on the protections of your own country's law, regardless of what this section says.
In practice, this site is free, sells nothing and holds no accounts, so the situations in which any of this would arise are limited. If you have a complaint, the first step is to email — most things are resolved that way and none has needed anything more.
Changes to These Terms
These terms will change as the site changes — when advertising is introduced, when a tool is added or removed, when something turns out to have been unclear. Material changes are posted here with a date before they take effect.
There is no way to notify you individually, because the site holds no accounts. The last-updated date at the top of this page is the authoritative record, and the log below lists what changed.
